Welcome to South Africa!

South Africa still remains one of the undiscovered golf destinations in the world today, many more golfing and non-golfing tourists are travelling to the Southern part of Africa every year, especially from Europe.

With so many outstanding golf destinations around the world, what makes South africa special enough to be included among them? South Africa's climate is very agreeable with little of the intense humidity or heat than any other golfing destination in the world.

Accessibility is important when organising a golfing holiday, South African golf clubs, are nearly all exclusive private clubs who welcome visitors most days of the week

Security is an issue for anyone travelling to South Africa, golf courses are generally safe places because they are built in the more affluent areas. Clubs go to a great deal of trouble to ensure the safety and protection of their members and visitors.

Nestling at the foot of Table Mountain is the Mother city. Cape Town. A truly magnificent place of rural tranquillity, mountains, vineyards, forests, beaches and golf courses in a cosmopolitan city. The ever bustling V&A waterfront is the country's foremost tourist attractions.

South Africa is a big country and visitors should be wise to choose a specific area for a holiday. The Cape is the largest region and is divided into three parts, Cape Town, The Garden Route and the Wine Route. KwaZulu Natal is very different to the Cape, while Sun City is a spectacular resort north of Johannesburg.

Take a tour of the Garden Route and Klein Karoo. A corner of Africa so unique so astonishingly beautiful that it has been called "A taste of Eden, Your taste of Eden".

Few regions match the breathtaking beauty and temperate climate of the Garden Route along South Africa's Southern Coast, encompassing several tourist destinations, the area provides the traveller with numerous course and country club options suitable for any level of golf enthusiast. What's more, each course in conveniently close to the next, affording a get away packed with golf, golf and more golf.

Apart from golf, the garden route has a lot more to offer, Whale watching in Hermanus the luxury of Arabella and Fancourt, and enjoying the more down to earth pleasures of the Garden Route game lodge, where one can experience the Big Five on a game drive and have dinner served in a traditional "Boma" round a camp fire.

From there travel to Knysna and experience the most exquisite region on the garden route situated 30 Km to the west of Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, a village known for its oysters, elephants and solitude, is now a buzzing centre with a waterfront well stocked with up market hotels, fancy shops, some exquisite beaches and superb restaurants.
