Welcome to The St. James of Knysna, an exclusive, owner run, Country House Hotel uniquely situated on the shores of the famous Knysna Lagoon right in the heart of the Garden Route. The Garden Route incorporates one of the largest remaining indigenous forests, majestic mountains, magnificent beaches and the Knysna Lagoon, the largest natural estuary in South Africa, rich in plant, bird and sea life.

Accommodation has been carefully created allowing The St. James to offer the widest choice and range for all. The Manor has the George Rex Suite (with private sauna and steam room) and the Lady Ann Suite, both with large lagoon facing balconies. Two Deluxe Garden View Suites, a Deluxe Room, elegant Dining Room, Main Lounge with Mezzanine Lounge, Paquita Bar and Swimming Pool are also located here.

The three Deluxe Lagoon View Suites and the two Junior Suites nestle around a Mediterranean Courtyard with a protected swimming pool.
