SOUTHBROOM

The south coast of KwaZulu-Natal has a wealth of fine courses and is aptly named South Africa´s "Golf Coast". Near the town of Margate is Southbroom Golf Club, a course that may flatter the handycap player, who should play at least to his or her stroke allowance.

The course may generally be termed user friendly, but remains enough of a test to demand concentration and, should any player try to overpower the layout, it could easily attract a toll.

The wind could blow from the north or the south, making the course more interesting, but even on the rare calm days, one can not fail to be trilled by the charming layout.
